Exhibition Art Work
by Khun Sovanrith and Venn Savat

Opening reception, July 13, 2009

This exhibition consists of 23 modern oil paintings which were created by Mr. Khun Sovanrith and Mr. Venn Savat. Each painting depicts different images, and coveys different messages. For some paintings, viewers can grasp their meanings at once. However, some other paintings require the viewers to spend some time thinking about them in order to understand the paintings, and others even need the explanation from the artists themselves.

The main objective of this exhibition is to support and encourage the artists especially the painters in Cambodia to continue their work, and it is also intended to publicize paintings for national and international audience.
